Since compul seems somewhat artistic, I think he should make a first
stab at replacing all the graphics that realcrypt replaced.

The RealCrypt fork of TrueCrypt already does everything needed to
comply with the TrueCrypt 3.0 license. I extracted the RealCrypt
source from the Fedora package. For now, you can download it at:

    http://waywardgeek.net/realcrypt.tar.gz

The bitmaps we need to replace are apparently:

Drive_icon_96dpi_real.bmp.lzma
System_drive_icon_96dpi_real.bmp.lzma
Textual_logo_background_real.bmp.lzma
Drive_icon_mask_96dpi_real.bmp.lzma
System_drive_icon_mask_96dpi_real.bmp.lzma TrueCrypt_Wizard_real.bmp.lzma
Logo_288dpi_real.bmp.lzma
Textual_logo_288dpi_real.bmp.lzma
Logo_96dpi_real.bmp.lzma
Textual_logo_96dpi_real.bmp.lzma

If compul and/or the others would prefer, I can have a graphics artist
I know locally spruce up the graphics once the initial versions are made.

There is also a large patch file, which is mostly just a global
replace of TrueCrypt with RealCrypt, but it's worth taking a look at
the changes that are not just global name replacements (there are a
few). Maybe we can test our back-door sniffing skills by seeing if
any of the RealCrypt edits were malicious :-)

Bill

I have never been served with any warrant such as an NSL, I have no
gag order of any kind, and am not under any sort of compulsion related
to the CipherShed project.
