- Harry and Snowman---a big, big yes from Laurie and a somewhat less
enthusiastic yes from Clif. Looks like a real crowd pleaser. Show it early,
so as to get the jump on Netflix, etc. In fact, show it first.
- To Keep the Light---a natural for a Maine audience. Looks beautifully
filmed and understated. Will Ken want this?
- Old Stone---Looks very suspenseful, high energy, somewhat violent. A
different look at China.
- Starving the Beast---Another natural for our audience. A good-for-you
doc.
- The Lover and the Despot---One heck of a story!
A Possibility
- Things to Come---Hard to tell what this movie is really about. A
Middle-age coming of age story? It has Isabel Huppert, a strong plus for
any movie. (nothing like the classic HG Wells Things to Come :-) )
