Me, too, Alice! And compared with meh, sentimental but good is a
win.

Subject: [cinemaexp] Ramen Shop
Hi, all--
Last night, Clif and I watched Ramen Shop, and we both
think it should be put on the to-be-seriously-considered short
list for Cinema Explorations. Not only is food one of the
central subjects, but the movie also weaves in issues of
forgiveness and the long lasting effects of war, in this case
World War II. The movie is sentimental, but as we were both
engaged with the characters, we thought it was all right. In
fact, I wouldn't mind watching it again, and that is not
something I can say about every movie. ;)
