Subject: Staying Home After All

Hello Dads,

As you may remember, I was offered a full time instructor postion at the
school I work at on the weekends.

Jill and I decided to tour some daycare facilities in hopes of finding
someplace for Margo and Audrey to attend.

We toured 2 places that were highly recommended.

  We were shocked.

Goddard was OK, but very expensive. plus they were discontinuing their
kindergarten program. Meaning Margo would have to still attend the
Kindergarten Center when she is old enough. For as much as they charged, you

would think they would at least provide a lunch. Pack your own lunch, bring
you own sheets for naps. $1390.00 a month, come on!!!

The next place was the Fairfield Education Building. They provided a
breakfast(for an additional $7.50 per week per child), lunch, and cots for
naps. For about $229.00 per week for both kids(not including the $7.50
breakfast charge). Sounded like a good possibility. The only way I could
describe it would be chaotic and dirty. Jill was almost in tears thinking
about Margo and Audrey in those conditions.

So I decided now is not the time for me to take on the new job. I decided
to stay home and take care of Margo and Audrey until the time is right.
Maybe when the graduate from college.

Hope to see some you soon.

Have a great day,

Mark.
