Blue skies and blue water on a relatively calm day in Santa Barbara with
Captain Dave at the helm and a small group of mostly foreign tourists relishing
their opportunity to be on a whale watch.
Up to a dozen humpbacks were sighted in pairs and in groups of two or three. We
were accompanied by small pods of common dolphins most of the day.
Except for one seasick passenger, the wildlife delighted our passengers from
England, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Australia, along with a few locals.
