Out for a day sail yesterday March 5th roughly half way between Ventura and
Frenchy's and came upon 6 humpbacks. We hove to (drifting) and the whales came
in close, surface lunge feeding, pec slaps, tail lobs, spy hopping, and
sounding. Very exciting. Great sailing with 15-18 knots of wind, the boat
hitting in excess of 7 knots. 😊⛵Dean Benjamin
