Good observation and question. You are correct. You are recording hours
this time for January 1, 2019 thru September 30, 2019. The reason we are
only doing 9 months this time is to get our annual time sheets synced up
with the government's fiscal calendar (10/1 thru 9/30). Previously, since
our time sheets were based on the calendar year, Shauna and her team would
need to pull up two sets of time sheet databases to sum up the volunteer
hours. Going forward, they'll just need to pull up one database, making
their job much easier. That's why this year's time sheets are only 9
months. Next year, it'll be 12 months again and be based on the fiscal
year. I hope this helps.
