[cinc] Orcas on the CX today!

Hello CINC friends!

I was on the Condor Express trip today as a passenger and thought you might
like to know about our amazing sightings. We got good looks at 5 humpback
whales with tons more scattered throughout the channel, including one that
was pretty far away and very active. It breached at least once and was tail
throwing quite a bit.

The highlight of the trip, though, was an encounter with 5 orcas (1 male, 4
females, including a calf!)
from the CA-138 matriline. We spent quite a bit of time with these gorgeous
animals and were treated to spyhopping, tail throws, vocalizations, and
feeding. The group took many close passes by and under the boat much to the
delight of all on board.

This was my first time seeing Orcas in the wild and it was certainly a huge
thing checked off of my bucket list! What an amazing day!!
