Geologically, it could be said the Gaviota Coast is the North Rim of a vast
Grand Canyon full of bountiful Eastern Pacific waters swirling around in the
patterns we well know: Our Northern Channel Islands forming the South Rim. With
this reasoning I am sharing this with you as it was shared with me by the

Experience a special part of the undeveloped Gaviota Coast from the vantage
point of an aquatic creature. Let Santa Barbara Adventure Company meet you at
the water’s edge with their necessary kayaks and gear. Their seasoned guides
will take care of everything once you arrive. We meet at Refugio State Beach, a
15-20 minute drive north of Santa Barbara.
$122/adult and $99/children. There is also a $10 day use fee at Refugio. 25% of
your registration fee goes to benefit Gaviota Coast Conservancy.
