Several Thousand Common Dolphin
Today was the calmest day I’ve ever had, with incredible visibility - once
again all 4 islands were visible.
We found the coastal Bottlenose just as we exited the harbor. Then, proceeding
south, we got into a megapod of common dolphin. Continuing south, we had a
medium range look at what appeared to be a juvenile humpback.
Turning west, we found our second humpback, an adult who gave us several
perfect fluke photo ops.
Continuing west, we had a nice look at a group of offshore Bottlenose.
