4 Gray whales, all adults or juveniles
from a distance: numerous Common Dolphins

8-10 Bottlenose
2 Adult Fin whales farther off shore
Good Question from a passenger: Does the free-flowing oil (seepage) bother
the whales? I explained that all pollutants have an cumulative effect but
does anyone have specific knowledge on if the oil sheen both on the water
and underneath have any noticeable effects? Thanks.
