300 Common Dolphin
Really interesting behavior from four of the humpbacks who were together in a
tight formation. They were trumpeting and blowing, raising their heads before
a deeper dive, and nicely displaying their tail flukes. Naturalist John
Kuizenga thought it might be mating behavior—-rarely seen in the Santa Barbara
Channel.
