Started out overcast on the channel, clearing to partly cloudy; seas were
pretty much what you'd expect.
Our first sighting was a pod of 300 common dolphins which excited the
passengers. Next up was the blow of a humpback, but he didn't want to
entertain today and after 10 minutes we headed out towards SCI where the
blues have been seen this week. We weren't dissapointed as we found 2
blues feeding and they entertained w/flukes and nicely arched backs.
On board we spanned the globe from China to a honeymooning couple from
Denmark.
At the helm was Capt Tasha w/2nd Capt Colten w/Jill tending to the
passengers. Naturalists were Debbie S, Dino at PID, and myself, Mike
Watling.
