Both morning & noon trips = 4 Humpbacks, 10-20-bottlenose and couple hundred
common dolphins
Morning trip …calm seas and clear skys...came upon the bottlenose about 15
minutes west of harbor…some very nice looks then headed out about 3-5 miles
coming upon a really nice (100-200) pod of dolphins followed by 4 humpbacks
performing breached, lung, (they were so close we could smell their bad
breaath :)) feeding, flipper slapping …. all over at least an hour…quest from
Swenden, Germany, England , Holland… a big group from Chicago ..also bay area ,
La and Baltimore…included lots of kids…all very happy
Afternoon a little rough but almost the same bottlenose and then back out to
the humpbacks who were going wild all of the same behaviors as the
morning…except they were breaching all over the place for an hour….CX pohto
person said we had maybe 50 overall during the 2 trips. quests fro Barzil,
France, Sewden …again a bunch from Chicago
Best day ever for me :)
