Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I had the good fortune to travel to Santa Rosa Island as a paying passenger
yesterday. The wildflowers along Soledad Road and into Cherry Canyon were
just spectacular! It gave me just the boost I needed after such a long
absence, and I heartily recommend it to you if you have the time and means
to get out there soon!
Islander Captain Luke provided a terrific visit to the Painted Cave despite
less than ideal ocean conditions. It was so nice to be back on the water
and I join many of your expressions of hope that we will soon be able to
return.
