Colleagues,
Fred, the Skipper and co-owner of Celebration Cruises took the Azure Seas out
from Stearn’s Wharf at 2 pm today to find 3 Gray Whales heading north. Two were
juveniles; the third, spotted as we returned to port, was full grown. All were
traveling solo. Seas were very calm and the sightings were within a half mile
of shore between Santa Barbara and Goleta.
Many passengers saw their first whales in the wild! At least 4 expressed
interest in exploring our CINP as well! No dolphin were sighted. Cheers, Paul
