AMBER Alert: Alton Girl Abducted

(KSDK) - The Alton, Illinois police department is investigating an
abduction or abduction attempt of a child from an apartment complex on
State Street.
The victim is Jaymee Golley, 14. She is 5 feet 3 inches, weighing
117pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing
a white short sleeve shirt.
The person suspected in the abduction is Dennis J. Thomas, 21. Thomas is
5 feet 7 inches, 135 pounds, and was wearing all dark clothing.
The suspect abducted the girl against her will and fled the area in a
blue Pontiac Grand Am with no license plate. He was last seen driving
south on State Street.
The suspect also owns a red, 1980s model Chevrolet, 2 door, passenger
car, model unknown at this time. The vehicle has a "for sale" sign in
the rear window. It is possible that he might change vehicles.
The suspect is believed to be armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
The suspect has not been charged at this time.
Anyone with information on this situation should call 911 or contact the
Alton Police Department at 618-463-3505.
