Dear Guy,

For F6 categories it is in Czech Republic not very easy to make a list of
sponsors because as a matter of fact we practically do not have any!!!

For other RC categories like F3A, F3M, F3D, F3P we have several solid
sponsors like Hacker, AXi, JETI, Mejzlik, Flight Power, Krill Models and may
be 10 other producers or sellers who are supporting the contests in our
country under following conditions:
- We do not have usually written contracts with them. Their support is
usually based on some personal relations with the organizing persons.
- Majority of them are supporting the organizers by means of RC or other
material which can be used as contest prices
- Only a few of them are ready to give some money into the contest budget or

to accept the covering of some organizer's costs
- As a counter value they are usually asking to put their logo on all
printed documents and to announce them oficially as sponsors.

It means, that for the contests in F6 categories and for supporting of
future national teams for World Air Games or World Artistic Games it will be
necessary to bring the current sponsors as well into the F6 family! We have
to offer to the sponsors new oportunities outcomming from the possible
contacts with television and generally with better publicity of F6 contests.

Sorry Guy that I did not fill in your questionnaires as you asked for but
for F6 I am currently not able to do it.

Best regards

Jiri

Dear all,

As you know, one of the main reasons behind multi-sport events such
as World Air Games, World Artistic Games etc. is the need to increase
visibility of obscure sports (including ours) which do not benefit
from Media exposure to finance their growth, at the governing body
(international federation) as well as at the individual competitor levels.

As said earlier, I will provide in due time WArtGames and World Games
competitors with guidelines on how to secure sponsors outside of the
restricted model aircraft sector.
Meanwhile, I will try having a clearer view of the present situation.
This is for all the competitors, whatever the class, among you.
Please fill in the appended questionnaire and send it back to me.

In addition, if you dare telling it, it would be extremely helpful to
know what your yearly competition budget really is for:
1) Equipment (models renewal & maintenance, RC equipment & batteries, etc)
2) Travel expenses to competitions

I promise I will not tell your better half, even under torture ;-)
