FYI
Last night, in what many would describe as the most accomplished wind ensemble
performance (ever?), Wind Symphony I played a flawless, beautiful program and
WON State Finals. Incredibly difficult post-collegiate repertoire was played
perfectly and with a musicality that was astonishing. We can all be proud to be
associated with such an amazing program, its directors, and CHS students. At
the end, there was a standing ovation from an audience which included North
Central, Avon, and other parents.
Are there plans for playing at the two retirement centers again in the late
spring? Residents at both sites have seemed to enjoy our fine play last year.
Obviously, they are very discerning people with good taste!
