I’ve created 3 test events with reminders for you to see how this works.
1: event at 1:30 with a reminder 15 minutes before
2: event at 3:30 with a reminder 60 minutes before
3: event at 7:30 with a reminder 2 hours before
In the future we could create two reminders for each event, one for the Bad
Time Management group and one for everyone else.

That tool sounds good.
Just a thought: Reminder texts that we used to get, at about 30 minutes before
rehearsal or sendoff time, are a bit late to be truly helpful. (If it slipped
our mind, the 30 minute window is not enough to correct our bad time
management).
May want to see at next rehearsal if the group would prefer a reminder text
“the day before” or “the morning of”.

I just found out that the Google calendar app will send reminders from the PPB
calendar to your phone. They don't come in a text messages like Wiggio did;
they show up as a Calendar reminder on the screen.
When new events are added to the PPB calendar, they auto-magically show up in
the calendar app. (You may have to manually sub-scribe to the PPB calendar
after you install the app.)
If that works for everybody, I'll cross off "Figure out how to send reminder
texts" from my To Do list.
