I should be able to do that (only concern I have is if I have to have hernia
surgery, what the recovery time will be – seeing the doc later this week, so
should know what kind of time frame I am looking at – if indeed I have a
hernia).

This email originated from outside of the organization.
Talked with Bruce (owner of Old Towne) and he says he can open whenever we want
him to. We’ll be an “official” music/spirit group along the course. Bruce would
like us to commit as soon as possible so that he can get back to the event
organizers with the info. What times are best for us? I’m thinking 11 – 12 with
many breaks.

Looked at my schedule. Definitely CANNOT make Sat March 31st for the Carmel
Marathon.
Again, when is the CHS Marching Greyhounds’ Volunteer Fair when we will play?
Thanks. Steve

Wrong question. How long do we reckon we want to drink? ;) I’ll check w. Kat
and see what time Bruce has in mind. I’m not sure they open before 12.

Just FYI, the half and full marathon course goes down Main Street between the
Monon Trail and Rangeline Road in mile 12, and the full marathon again in mile
25. The fastest runner should make it there in about an hour, the slowest half
marathon walker in about 4 hours, and it looks like the course closes at 2:30.
So there'd be people going past there from 9 AM until 2:30 PM. I figure the
bulk of it would be the middle-of-the-pack half marathoners, who'd be going
past there from 9:40 - 11:00.
How long do we reckon we want to play?
