Zak,

Even without knowledge of php, you can get Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php) set up. All you would have to do is upload the files, browse to the config page for setup, and there you go. I didn't know much about php when I installed Gallery myself, but I was still able to get it done without melting down. Give it a shot and maybe you'll learn a bit about PHP in the process.
