Hello Nicolas and every chaoscopers
Here's the pictures of the strange behavior vith colored modes observed
on my computer.
- F3 only.jpg: Just pressed F3 and saved the picture (the same as I saw
on screen)
- F3 and preview.jpg: Same as above but mouse clicked on screen to
launch the 'redraw' process (picture is *almost* the same) see below
- What I see.jpg: The picture I see on the screen (screen capture)

You could think it was not necessary to post the 2 first pictures. I
thought too but.... there is a gap between the two pictures. Like if the
middle of the two pictures was not excatly the same. I can't explain
this phenomena cause the only difference between the two pictures is
just the click of the mouse to get the focus. Can be a litle shift
produced by my mouse, this is not impossible. So, excluding this strange
new fact, the situation is the following: even if I can't see the real
colors I can save the picture. I suspect an open Gl problem.
I tried some effets on the screen capture and I don't think it's just a
lightning problem.
Note if you load the parameter file as first activity with Chaoscope
(grey rendering screen, blank), you'll get a near black picture instead
of the 'F3 and preview.jpg'.

"Scaling is now apply to the projection instead, so you can zoom in as
much as you want. "
I agree. I can zoom very very deeply without crash. Of course when I
reach the iteration limit there is no more pixel drawn but no crash.
Hope it helps. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Have FUN !!!
