Thanks for your appreciation. I am actually not sure what triggers the drastic changes that sometimes occur. All configurations are basic solid renders in chaoscope. Not even in the latest version, and all I do in photoshop is combining various layers of the same image with e.g. saturation, difference, exclusion and so on. It's a lot of testing. what works for one image might be completely counterproductive for another one. It's nice though, because conceptually you use photoshop in a similar way you use chaoscope. Meaning you're seeking an attractor [in this case a color value, contrast or brightness factor] that can be used to enhance a certain portion of your project. You have some nice stuff too, I liked Stonefish 13 (was that blue glow on the head part of the render or photoshopped? Either way nicely done), Steelfish 2, Pearlflies 16 (how did you get that sharp colour change down the middle?). ----- Original Message ----- From: Sven Neumann <mailto:seven@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: chaoscope@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, October 27, 2006 4:54 PM Subject: [chaoscope] Re: My little ChaoScope gallery Sweet. I love the sea creatures, very nice work and quite gentle with the photoshop remastering. As you point out, two layers with a difference or saturation effect usually do the trick. I am pretty pleased with my latest stuff. Some of the images really need full-scale viewing to appreciate the detail, especially 'Your Skyship Awaits' and 'Sea Veil Jellyfish'.
