Hi, > Is width/height changes after setup still a no-go? It is still a no-go. It will be implemented in version 0.3. > If so, may I suggest that these be disabled? or, if they are changed, > can they be reverted back to what they were? They've been added so I could test enumerated properties. As you can read in HISTORY.TXT, Width and Height combos were the source of a lot of bugs, because the underlying code is rather complex. > Example: I start with a 640x480 image, change width and height to > 800x600 (pressing enter after each entry) and search for a new > attractor. Widthxheight show the new, incorrect values (since the > render window never increased). The values do revert if you change the > render type, however (and so too does the update value - which may or > may not be desirable...). The expected behavior would be that the view window would change size as soon as you press Return, not when you start a new render. I guess it should be considered as a bug if we were talking about version 1.0. As long as the size combos are clearly identified as "not functioning yet" in the manual, I'm alright with them staying as they are for now. The number of updates is reverted to the default value when you change the render type because I felt it was logical to test a render before going for a longer render with less updates.
