Hi folks, we're at week four of our full return to broadcasting. There's one
more group of new applicants that will be trained this week, so watch for the
new faces around the station. We've added a few more new programmers too, so
welcome Clive (Wednesdays 9-10 PM), Jonah (Wednesdays 4-5 PM) and Thamindu
(Fridays 9-10 PM) to the on air line up, and Rebecca and Ziping to our off air
volunteering crew! Anyone in training, remember to get your training finished
so I can get you on the air. The quicker you finish, the better spots will be
available to you. Drop by, email or call if you have any questions.
I'll be getting to off-air volunteering this week as well. If you have done
some off air volunteering, then log it in the lobby. Every two hours you do
gets you a chance to win music at the end of the month. If you don't have
anything to do, come and see me and I'll put you to work.
I'll be doing some programming check ups for volunteers returning, brushing up
those skills that weren't practiced for the last 18 months. Mostly making sure
you're making your minimums and programming necessities like promos, PSAs,
Cancon and playlist requirements.
Remember to use the library resources! There's lots of great music you can and
should be using there! Fill out your playcards too.
