Hi folks, we got back into our offices yesterday (Thursday) and things are
slowly getting back to organized around the station. With luck, next week we
can get back to a few pressing things, like getting new volunteers trained,
producing new show promos, off air volunteer work and show reviews.
Remember, there will be no playlist adds this week since I haven't had time or
space to catalogue any new music this week, but there will be adds next Friday.
If you are currently on our volunteer list but not on the air, I'll be checking
up with you in the next couple of weeks to see what your plans are for the
summer. We'll need more live voices on the air, so I'll be encouraging you to
get yourself on the air.
If you are on the air and don't currently have a show promo produced, I want to
get your promo produced in the next few weeks, with hopes of a new promos disk
done by mid May. Contact me if you have some ideas for your promo already.
Remember that we're at the Kamloops Volunteer Fair tomorrow, April 30th, 11 AM
to 3 PM. I still have a couple of spots where you can help out, so let me know
if you can help us out at the information table.
We're also about to start to promote the CFBX Record Fair really heavily, which
is on Sunday, May 29th at the Sahali Mall. If you know anyone who wants to buy
a table to sell their records, have them contact Faith ASAP. We're also looking
for donations for our own table, so if you know someone with music they don't
want anymore, have them bring it by the station. We'll go out and get it too,
as long as it's not too far out of town.
Thanks!
