Hi folks, a few things to pass on to you.
This weekend is, of course, the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival. A lot of
station volunteers are going, and a few are doing interviews as well. Hope to
see you our there!
We're about three weeks away from the new semester too, and our first full
volunteer drive in two years. There's going to be a lot of recruitment events,
which I'll be recruiting for very soon. Faith and I have been working on some
exciting ways to engage volunteers more, and making the training process for
new volunteers more meaningful and interesting. We should have something to
announce about this next week.
Remember, if you are returning to TRU and Kamloops, be sure to contact me as
soon as you get back into town. If you are trained and taking time off for the
summer, contact me as soon as you can so you can get a good timeslot before the
new volunteers start training. Timeslots will fill up quickly.
