[Census] Census / R 2.8.0: Incompatibilities?

Dear Justin and census users,
May I ask you for advice?
I just installed R.2.8.0 on my computer. I then updated Census to get it
running with it but I ran into the problem of the R(D)com and could not
access R and Xpose anymore from Census. All the links seems to be properly
set up.
Some mentioned a similar experience but is there any way around this issue?
