Hello, Beloveds!
Below are the joys and concerns raised in service on Sunday.
*As a gentle reminder, we do have children present with us regularly in
service now. When we are raising our concerns, we need to use non-explicit
language, especially when talking about tough subjects like violence,
crime, and self-harm.* General rule of thumb: Speak to the congregation a
way you would speak to a child; little ears are listening. 🙏❤

*Prayers, Concerns - We pray for....*
- Traveling grace for Pastor Nicole as she makes her way to Seattle for
the Evergreen Leadership Conference. Safe travels to and from for all who
are going as well.
- Jean, who is undergoing treatment for cancerous spots on the scalp.
- Those without homes, that they stay dry, fed, and find places to live.
- The man downtown who would hurt very bad by his best friend and now
has a severe lifelong disability because of it.
- Art, Stephanie, Tyler and Sarah. We continue to pray for Art after he
sustained a serious head injury. He has transitioned into a rehab facility
and is facing many difficulties.
- Esther, who is in her 80s and undergoing pacemaker surgery soon.
- Gordon and his family as he transitions from rehab to an assisted
living facility.
*Joys - We are grateful for...*
- Karen and Eli, who celebrated birthdays this week!
- Karen's sister whose birthday is the day after hers.
- Pets who comfort us and make us feel better when we are feeling sad or
lonely.
- Pastor Nicole thanks everyone for her generous Christmas gift, which
purchased her some much needed new tires and is helping her feel safer on
the road.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers, including the ones we hold silently
or deep within our hearts... 🙏❤
