Awh! Donald McCaig! Where are you going?...Don't go.... You put working sheepdogs in a a whole new light...didn't agree with you entirely but mostly - and learned a lot. IRWS, Donald? Irish Red & White Setters - of which there are some 4000 now in the world, from an all time low of 7. I almost met Dr. Armstrong twice - but never quite and never had the chance to thank him. I've grateful to those who here educated me, battled me tooth and nail, made me laugh out loud, forced me to rethink my own views and especially those who defended their dogs against any criticism, real or imagined. Of course you are right: your dogs can do anything. Though I remember some names, what I mostly remember is your brilliant dogs: your Alaskan Huskies, Malamutes and Siberians; your Canaan dogs and Singing Dogs, your Australian Shepherds, Poodles, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Brittany Spanials, Malinois, English Shepherds, Samoyeds, Greyhounds, Tibetan Lhasa Apsos, Irish Red Water Setters (or Spaniels - I never did figure out what "IRWS" stood for), your Kelpies, Saluqies, Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Corgis, Boston Bull Terriers, Shetland Sheepdogs . . . . . See you on down the road, Donald McCaig
