As a general rule, where residents are likely to be affected, demolition and
construction work should only be carried out during normal working hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Saturday: 8am to 1pm
No noisy working audible at the site boundary is permitted on Sundays or
bank holidays.
As for 'no noisy audible work at the site boundary on Sundays' - Spencer and
GTR are in direct violation of this. Again, I have video evidence of work
starting before 10am Sunday as was agreed by Spencer.
(Hill Group are out on Ironworks also working from 7:30am. Again in
violation of the above.)
The noise and dust are constant every day, apart from Saturday. This is
mentally debilitating and exhausting as we try to work from home. Why is the
Council allowing this to happen? GTR are working on the proposed train wash
foundations. This is clear in photographic evidence. So nothing has been
halted.
Likewise, I urge members of the Council to come down to the site to view
evidence of work on the train wash.

In addition, it appears that Spencer are working on the exact area that the
Industrial Train Wash has been dug out for. Setting up the wooden boards on
another steel and concrete base, ready to pour in concrete around the steel
reenforcing. I am urging the Council to inspect the site. This appears in
direct contradiction to the requirement to halt all work relating to the
trainwash until planning admission is approved.
