<CT> calmira error on startup

First of all, I also receive an error message each time I post to the list,
like you said in previous posts.

My problem:

I recently installed calmira on a pentium 166MHZ, 8mb Ram, VT-501
motherboard, 420mb HD, S3 virge, B&W monitor, running wfw3.11 portuguese
edition. I just unzipped calm33.zip into c:\calmira and the first time I
execute calmira.exe in each windows session I get the error "Calmira caused
a general protection fault in module <descCALMIRA.EXE in 0022:1CFF ". This
is not the exact words because I translated from portuguese. The second time
I run it, calmira runs fine. I have the dos 7.1 from wengier installed,
maybe that's the problem? I still haven't defined calmira as the default
shell, but I shouldn't have to, right?
Besides that, I have no mouse installed, because I haven't got a serial or
combo mouse, and ps2 mouses I have don't work with the serial adapter. Any
workaround?
Another thing, I can't remember where I can define a shortcut to the start
menu in calmira.ini. I don't have a keyboard with the "windows" key, and
without a mouse, that's a really important feature.
