Earnest Hemmingway was married 4 times. This is basically a biography of
those 4 marriages. Not a biography of the people involved, but of the
marriages.
It is written almost as a novel, with lots of dialogue, and the thoughts od
feelings of the people concerned. But despite that, I get the feeling a lot
of research has gone into this book.
It is a very difficult book to describe! And I am still not certain whether
I like the writer's style or not. But it does give an insight into the life
and mind of Hemmingway between 1925 and 1961.
Definitely worth reading!
