I have just finished reading "A Dangerous Desire", by Una Mary
Parker.
It tells, amongst other things, the story of an engaged couple
who are involved in a car accident. The girl's face is
destroyed, and she is offered plastic surgery, with unforeseen
consequences.
The book is well-written, and although towards the end of the
book I was beginning to think that a situation would be
unresolved, everything was covered and, therefore, I was not left
with the feeling that there were loose ends.
I read the book from the RNIB's talking book library. I cannot
check if it is available through Calibre, as the website is
unaccessible for me.
I recommend this book.
Best wishes,
Peter
