I've managed to get Vellum 2.70 running, kind of...
At this point 3D operations are flaky as hell The track ball no longer
crashes the machine when called up, but if I try to use it to rotate a wire
frame to see it from a non standard perspective, it doesn't turn off when I
remove the cursor from the track ball window. Killing the process renders the
maching unresponsive and I have to restart X.
3D extrude and rotate do not work at all but I have been able to save
work.
Somehow Vellum sees /home/ernie as "t" drive, odd behaviour as there are no
Win partitions on the box. Win 98 partitions on the 98 machine are Samba
mounted.(WINDOWS/C and WINDOWS /G at this time)
Vellum 2.70 is a vintage 1994 application for Win3.1 and it does not
add any
dll's to Windows/System, they all reside in the Vel270 directory. Attached is
a screenshot for Keith and anyone else interested.
