Yes, sounds good.

What should the global directory identifier file be called?

- DOCTYPE
- DIRTYPE       # my favourite
- directory.yml
- directory.xml
- autorun.inf
- METADATA
- .dirrc

Does anyone have any clever ideas?  We are kind-of stuck with 
whatever gets decided.
