I've done this flight, with no issues.
How was your flight plan set up?
Was it direct GPS navigation?
I flew from London to Kuwait the other day, and back, both times pausing the
simulator, all seemed to work OK after the resume.

Subject: [bvipilots] flight from JFK to Heathrow
All went well on this flight until I paused the simulator. I was gone long
enough that IYP went into Offline mode. Well, when I switched it back to
Online mode, the Acars logging system was a messed up and kept minimizing
FSX and opening its window. So, I restarted IYP. All, went fine after that
until it was apparent that either I was way to close to the airport or
Michelle was not reporting the distance correctly. I have had both happen.
So, on approach I realized that Michelle was not talking like she should be,
and therefore I switched to a visual approach. I landed, but I landed well
after the spot I should have and rolled off the runway.
