Orin turned me onto a program called FSX Pilot a few days ago. It’s not quite
up to IYP in terms of functionality, but does have a number of nice features,
such as support for navigating to nearby airports, VORs, etc. It also has full
auto-landing support. The shareware version has most features, but doesn’t
include many aircraft-specific tweaks.

You should also be using the phrase, "Expect vectors to runway three
three" after you leave your GPS route and begin the descent.

So I’m flying into Me75, Lisbon Falls, Maine. I’m told to expect vectors
for visual approach runway 33. I tell Mike the same, and receive
confirmation. “What runways exist?” confirms that this runway does, in

On approach, I try to ask Mike to “prepare to perform visual approach on
runway 33,” but am repeatedly told that that runway doesn’t exist at ME75.
“What runways exist?” tells me that it does, and obviously ATC believes it
too.
I believe I have run into this issue before, but never quite so
persistently. Is there any chance you could look into what happened here,
Robert? I eventually had to use an alternate autopilot program to land.
