Try two things.
1. when your copilot tells you to contact clearance delivery, do the
following.
1. Use the command contact clearance delivery then wait for the click.
2. I'm going to use my home base for the example.
Erie Clearance delivery, then wait until you hear the click.
Then try just your flight number and then once again wait for the click.
3. then use the command ready to copy and again wait for the click.
You then should hear the Clearance Delivery come back at you.
How long should you wait?
On the average, about five to ten seconds, but I've had to wait a few times
up til around fifteen seconds for the fs sounds to kick in.
What I usually do for the read back for the clearance and for the taxi is to
use the select one command.
I don't know of a easier way to memorise all of the info and to read it back
correctly.
Here's my problem.
I'm using super ATC.
I'm ok until I come up to taking off all the way up until leveled flight.
I try to use my flight number but the ATC just isn't hearing me.
Robert is recommending that I go to simple ATC.
But if I could just get over this one small problem just before takeoff up
to leveled flight I think I could use super ATC.
Any Advice from the experienced bvi pilots?

Hi all,
Well, today was my day to go over, or at least, get more familiar with
SuperATC so I enabled it, but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe it's the system
that doesn't recognize everything I say, but I succeeded one time.
Here is what I do. I created an IFR flight from Arlanda, Stockholm to
Lanvetter in Gotherburg and I do everything as I usually do.
When everything is loaded, I say:
switch to atis and obtain the info.
I then say:
switch to ground
I then open up the ATC window and say:
Arlanda airport world travel 1 1 2 3 IFR clearance to Lanvetter ready to
copy.
But nothing happens.
I have also tried using heavy and Arlanda clearance.
Any tips?
