Hi Al,
There’s a certain point at which we need vision to do this totally
realistically. I’m afraid there’s no way I know of to get this information
without being able to see the game screen. A jet would typically need a
pushback, and straight back always seems reasonable. This is also true for
things like clearance on the left and right. You can visually move your point
of view to check, but there’s no IYP command for it.
Best,
Zack.

Hi again everyone. Yet another newbie question here. I guess this one boils
down to what’s the best way to know what’s around me? For instance
pushbacks. How do I determine how far back we need to go, and whether I need
to be pushed straight back, right or left? Similarly during the checklist,
one of the items is to determine whether we are clear on the right and left.
How can I tell?
TIA,
Al
