Ron,
The problem you are having is that you are not saying Resume GPS Navigation
when PF3 tells you to do so. IYP takes care of the approach speed and landing
speed. So, you have to do nothing. Handcuff your hands behind the chair and
let IYP take care of it.

I always do the approach twenty miles out.
Hey Jordan.
I think the question I’m going to ask you is as follows:
What do you have your default take off and landing set at for the DF7X.
I never played with these settings, and I’m wondering if that is why I’m
constantly going off course and having to tap the number seven key all of the
time.
Thanks for the shout back.
I’m going to try this same flight once again tomorrow, then I’ll be away from
Friday sometime until Sunday sometime.
Going to be speaking at a lions dinner in the dark fund raising dinner.

No problems with it here. Everything works as it should although getting the
exact point at which to do the approach checklist can be tricky since the
vectors can get you way too close to the airport.

Hello to all.
PF3 ATC gave me clearance to land, So I touched down.
I heard the normal announcement from the ai captain the the passengers about
customs and what not.
Then IYP told me that I was flying away from the airport, first two miles out
then seven miles out.
So I ended up closing down the flight.
I got to PF3 to shut it down and I got the message that PF3 ATC isn’t
responding, would you like to wait or close out the program.
Go figure.
But thank god for the seven feature.
Like in the good old days of MSATC, I wished that PF3 ATC would give us more
vectors.
Because how else are we suppose to know that we’re flying on course or not?
So when you hear that you’re off of the air way and your copilot answers for
you, tap the seven key on the number roll and turn to the new heading that is
given to you.
Ron who’s still saying that the jury is out for pf3 ATC.
