So I’ve been on a regular add-on spree of late, and got my hands on Multicrew
Experience yesterday. It isn’t quite ready for general use yet, as their are
some rough edges, but I’ve been enjoying it a great deal, once I got used to
the vocabulary.
It’s essentially another way to control planes via voice control, and has
features for some fairly complex aircraft, including programming the FMC if I’m
not mistaken. It also features some basic support for the visually impaired
already, and the developers seem open to adding more.
I definitely suggest giving the demo a try. The default user interface isn’t
exactly Windows standard, but does work more or less with NVDA. I for one
intend to get in touch with the company and give some feedback on how things
could improve.
