Last night, on a whim, I launched just FSX and MCE, to see if MCE would
check for and download the latest update by itself (v2.7.1.7). However,
it didn't seem to do that. I'm using JFW as primary, and trying to read
the MCE control panel with that is...not easy. Would NVDA and object nav
read it better? JFW seemed to just get stuck on the status line.

Also, the correct time to put up the flaps is when the gear goes up.
