For my fellow BVI Pilots who are using FSX Steam, Jaws for windows and flying
in the IYPVA Mode.
I’m having the following issue that maybe someone can help me out with.
I know that above the App Data Folder:
We must uncheck, share with everyone and set to total control the following:
The flight plan folder that’s in the document folder, and the FSX folder that’s
in the
c:\program files (X86)\Steam\Steam Apps\Common\FSX.
But for down under the app Data\Microsoft folder, what needs to be unchecked,
shared with everyone and set to total control?
If anyone could help me out with what needs to be done for below the app
data\Microsoft folder, I’d deeply appreciate it.
My state.cfg file is in my Dassault Falcon 7X folder that is under
app data\Microsoft\fsx\sim objects\airplanes\Dassault falcon\state.cfg.
How it got there instead of in the sim objects folder I do not know.
But my IYPVA flight plans are not even showing up where they should be showing
up at.
Which is at the top of my flight plan files when I do a alt l to view my
flights.
So, if someone could help me out with what needs to be unchecked, shared with
everyone and set to total control for below the app data folder I think I’ll be
able to fly for IYP once again.
Many Thanks.
Ron
