Hi Jordan,
Thanks for the info.
Interesting. I wonder why it took weeks for the thing to trigger? And, the
fact that so many AV programs flag their stuff does make me a bit uneasy. Do
they have any official response as to why in a FAQ page or anything?

No need. You will have to go into Windows Defender and First Exclude the
entire FSX Folder from being scanned. I have run into this problem quite a bit
with especially Flight1 products. Second, I would recommend uninstalling the
GA sounds completely, and then install it again by right clicking and running
the installer as an Administrator. Once that completes, Run the GA Sound
Utility to install the sounds, and hopefully, things work.

Subject: [bvipilots] GASoundInstaller.exe from Flight One Showing as Trojan?
Hi,
Just curious if anyone has any idea what might be going on here? I've had the
GA sound environment from flight One installed for weeks. Tonight, I started
getting alerts from Windows 10 windows Defender, latest insider build for what
it's worth about this file. At first, I thought Windows defender was giving a
false positive, but I ran the file through Virus Total, and the results from
the link below would seem to speak for themselves:
https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/1a5220571c9600e2492ec30e4ce34a7c67a8a684dce093ebb2a756a71b74e63f/analysis/1491266600/
Again, the weird thing is I've had this program on my system for weeks. I
suppose it's possible that some Trojan has somehow infected my version of the
file, but thus far, no other files on my system are reporting as threats, so no
idea what is going on. I guess my next step will be to contact Flight One, but
the whole thing is baffling to say the least.
