Having the sim be 64-bit would be a huge improvement. You can also add a key
to steam, it's under add a game. So you wouldn't be buying addons twice.

if any better than FSX. This is because it is still based on FSX and its
engine.
It has a few tweeks to the user interface, but there is nothing to
write home about. It would be nice to get a similar program to IYP for
xPlane.
The down side to xPlane is that you seriously need a high end system
for it to run well at all, and currently there is no way for a blind
person to fly with that software.
