Hi all,
So in flight five of this tour I'm doing, ATC gave me runway 28 at
Montreal (CYUL). When I read up in the IYP manual that back course
approaches are really substitutions for a runway with an ILS, I
believe it is runway 07 that had the ILS from the "What runways exist"
command. Do back course approaches work pretty much the same as ILS in
BVI mode? I read about descending by controlling elevator trim, but I
know we can't do that, at least not like that. Lol.
I think I finally have my PF3 options set right now, though. It's the
first time I've encountered the back course approach. They'll probably
just give me the ILS runway next time I do it haha.
