Hey everyone,
We hope your semester is off to a great start!
Please take a look at our lineup of spring events.
*How To Engage The Alumni? - AIAA & ASME (Feb 10, 6pm)*
Our first meeting of the semester is going to take place next week.
Location is ME245, our usual meeting space at the 2nd floor of Mechanical
Engineering Department. Please consider attending this meeting to get up to
speed on what our plan for the semester and the upcoming years is. There
will be students from multiple other ENG student groups too.
*Moving the Future - Harvard Business School (Feb 12)*
We'll be joining BU SEDS to attend the Moving the Future conference hosted
by HBS. Speakers and agenda will range from transportation to
infrastructure. Tickets and transportation will be paid for up to 25

*Space Horizons 2016 - Brown University (Feb 19 - Feb 21)*
Want to spend 3 days designing a city on Moon? Then come to Brown
University with us in mid February. We'll cover the registration (includes
breakfast, lunch and dinner too!), travel and accommodation costs for up to
first 10 people to let us know they are interested!

*Inventing the Joint Strike Fighter - Distinguished Lecture by Dr.
Bevilaqua (Feb 24)*
Dr. Paul Bevilaqua served as Chief Aeronautical Scientist of Lockheed
Martin and then also as Chief Engineer of the Skunk Works where he played a
major role in developing the F35. This event is open to all AIAA members,
specifically the Northeast AIAA members. So there will be a lot of people
coming from MIT, Draper, Lincoln Labs and bunch of other people from out of
town. This also means that we've limited seats available even for BU

*Student Group Showcase and Alumni Networking - AIAA & ASME (March 15,
6:30pm)*
We are hosting this event with ASME at EPIC. There will be ME alumni coming
in to check out what the student groups are up to. It will include
presentations and demonstrations by students groups along with a reception
for networking. We need hands to help out with the event. Please let us
know if you would like to help!
There are a few other events that we plan on doing that have not been
finalized. So check your mailbox!
