and some people want to try with a chat. Not sure what is best but maybe we can try a chat as this is what most people want? In that case we could use Matrix/Riot, which is a group-chat platform

If so i can set this up, is this okay? Maybe using both a chat and an email list is too much, i'm not sure, but in that case we may need to decide which direction to go
